Client records are retained in accordance with professional guidance and insurance requirements, typically for seven years after counselling ends, after which they are securely destroyed.

Enquiries that do not become clients are normally deleted within twelve months unless there is a legitimate reason to retain them.

Your information will not normally be shared with anyone else.

Information may only be shared:

• where there is a serious safeguarding concern

• with your written consent

• with my professional supervisor, where client work is discussed anonymously as part of ethical practice
